Use each screen for what it does well
Typing a title is usually easier on a phone or computer. Once you find the film, open its viewing options and use the chosen service’s supported TV app where available. A television browser may not offer the same experience as that app.
Casting is not the same as mirroring
Casting can let a receiver handle playback; mirroring reflects another device’s screen. Support depends on the service, app and equipment. Use their documented connection method. This website does not supply its own casting receiver or console player.
Check before the group settles in
Play a short section through the viewing app and confirm language, sound output, captions and image framing. It is easier to adjust those now than during a dramatic scene. Subtitle appearance may need a larger size when watched from across a room.
Moving your shortlist
If you browse in another browser, use a list backup to move your choices. Saving the title is separate from signing into the television’s viewing service.
